Megahome Water Distiller: The purest water you have ever tasted – from your kitchen tap!

Megahome is the World's best-selling, most highly-rated domestic water distiller – beware copies

With the Megahome Deluxe water distiller you get drinking water that is purer and cleaner than you have ever tasted.
It is a purer than any UK tap water, it is purer than filtered water or water produced using reverse osmosis. And it is purer than bottled water. That is because a water distiller is the only way to produce absolutely pure drinking water.
And of course it costs considerably less than bottled water too - around 9p a litre.
You probably already know most tap water generally contains all sorts of stuff you would rather not drink. Chemicals like lead, mercury and asbestos plus contaminants like fertilizer, growth hormones and antibiotics.
You might be surprised to learn, however, that bottled water and even home-filtered water also contain many impurities. And they are all going straight into your body where many bio-accumulate.
This is where the Megahome Deluxe Water Distiller can help…

Guaranteed 99.99% pure

If you are concerned about the quality of the water you and your family are taking into your body, you need to know that the only guaranteed way to create the absolute purest water is by using a steam distillation process.
With the Megahome Deluxe Water Distiller and you will be drinking and cooking with distilled water that is 99.99% pure.
Purer than any bottled water
Purer than any tap water
Purer than any other type of filtration or purification method

Here is how the Deluxe Water Distiller works

You simply fill the Distiller with ordinary tap water and press the button turn it on…(it turns itself off automatically)
First the Distiller boils the water. This kills viruses & bacteria and converts the water to steam.
Converting the water to steam leaves the majority of the unwanted pollutants behind as a residue. The steam is then captured in a special stainless steel coil where it cools back to liquid water.
This now travels through an activated charcoal filter which removes volatile organic compounds like solvents and pesticides.
Your tap water is now 99.99% pure.
Most people are genuinely shocked to see how much stuff is filtered out from just four litres of typical tap water. Watch the video above to see some of the nasty stuff that you are currently taking into your body if you are not using our Deluxe Water Distiller. We did it with our home water and it left a yellow residue that looked like cloudy urine and smelled like emulsion paint.

Purer and cheaper than bottled water

Although bottled water has a reputation for purity, many people are surprised to see how many impurities bottled water still contains.
Sadly, paying for expensive water is no guarantee of special purity – especially when you remember that a lot of bottled water is more expensive than petrol!
Use the Megahome Deluxe Water Distiller, on the other hand, and you drink the purest water possible for around 9p per litre.

Your Deluxe Water Distiller removes 99.99% of all these impurities:

Organic Chemicals: Antibiotics, Fertilizers, Pesticides, Insecticides, Herbicides, Solvents, Growth Hormones.
Inorganic Chemicals: Hard Water Minerals, Phosphorus, Asbestos, Selenium, Sodium, Fluoride, Iron, Lead, Mercury, Barium, Nitrates, Copper, Lead, Chlorine, Arsenic.
Biological Contaminants: Bacteria, Viruses, Cryptosporidium, Chlamydia, Giardia Cysts

These pollutants and contaminants are found in most tap water. The Megahome distiller removes 99.99% of them.

The easy to use Water Distiller: switch it on and forget it

It takes around five to six hours for the distiller to produce four litres of ready-to-use pure water. The newly filtered, distilled water is collected in a BPA-free polypropylene jug that you can keep in your fridge. Glass jug option is also available.
You fill it with tap water, switch it on and let it run. It turns itself off automatically so you can leave it working overnight to ensure you have super-clean water for your breakfast cuppa.
Some customers prefer a glass collection jug rather than the standard plastic one; this is available for a small extra cost.

Beware copy water distillers made in China

The Megahome water distiller is the original water distiller first created in 1992. Megahome in Taiwan designed it and perfected it. More recently we have noticed a lot of Chinese-made copies coming onto the market with brand names like Via Fosa. We have tested these ourselves and, in our experience:
1. The quality of manufacture of Chinese distillers is not as good as Megahome. You can see this for yourself when you compare the two side by side.
2. Consequently they tend to fail more frequently – several of our wholesalers experienced this.
3. There is no additional carbon filtration – this is an important part of the purification process because it removes the nasty Volatile Organic Compounds like pesticides. These compounds also add a nasty taste to the water.

Health professionals recommend drinking distilled water:

"The only minerals your body uses are the organic minerals. All the others are substances foreign to the body and have to be eliminated. Distilled water is the only water that can be taken into the body without damaging your tissues". - Dr Allen Banik
"The greatest damage done by inorganic minerals is to your small arteries and to the other blood vessels in your brain (which is 75% water). Hardening of your arteries and calcification of your blood vessels begins the moment you start taking the inorganic chemicals & minerals found in tap water into the body." - Dr Paul Bragg
"Tap water invariably contains poisons like asbestos, chlorine, chloramine, pesticides, copper, fluoride, mercury and lead. The best way to remove these is by distillation" - Dr David Kennedy
"Your body's need for minerals is largely met through foods, not through drinking water." - American Medical Association

Your Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Megahome unit compare to other methods of purifying water?

Our tests demonstrate that steam distillation is a more effective method of purification that the two most common forms of filtration used alone, namely activated charcoal filtration, which this unit uses in addition to distillation, and the more sophisticated ‘reverse osmosis’ technique.

Is the distiller completely free of BPA?

The standard plastic collecting jug is BPA-free polypropylene. However, if you’d prefer a glass jug, this is available for a small additional cost.

Why does it use a charcoal filter?

The charcoal filter catches any volatile organic compounds (VOCs), such as pesticides and solvents. Not only that, a charcoal filtration process actually makes the water taste nicer too.

Will I notice a difference in taste?

Yes, you will. Water that’s been distilled and filtered tasted decidedly different to tap water. Some customers find it takes a couple of days to get used to the new pure taste but, trust us, when you go back to tap you’ll find it horrible in comparison!

How much does it cost to create my pure water?

In average year it should work out at around seven to nine pence for each litre. Considerably cheaper than bottled water which is nowhere near as pure.

How long does my Distiller take to work?

It takes around five to six hours to produce four litres of pure distilled water. Many customers fill it and leave it overnight as it switches itself off automatically.

I’ve read bad things about drinking distilled water on the Internet?

There are a lot of myths flying around. If you are worried read this article:Nine Myths about Drinking Distilled Water (and why they are complete twaddle).
